Vintage Floral Circles Crochet Doily

A clever woman very quickly & easily will crochet this exquisite doily in a delightful pattern…which will become a personal favorite to keep or gift to that special person!

SIZE: 
12 ½” diameter

MATERIALS: 
Crochet Cotton, 1 big ball each of white, green & shaded yellows
#7 Steel Crochet Hook

With Shaded Yellows ch 9, join to form ring, ch 4, 2 trc in ring keep last lp or each st on hk, yo & work off all lps at one time, * ch 5, cluster st in some sp (cluster st: 3 trc in some sp keep last lp of each st on hk, yo & work off all lps at one time), rep from * 6 times, ch 5, join in top of 1st cluster st, cut thread.

2ND RND:  Attach Green in any lp, ch 1 & work 3 s c, ch 3, 3 s c in each lp, join in 1 st sc.

3RD RND:  Sl st to ch 3 lp, ch 4 (always counts as part of 1st cluster st), 2 trc in some sp keep last lp of each st on hk, yo & work off all lps at one time, ch 5, cluster st in same sp, * ch 7, 2 cluster sts with ch 5 bet in next ch 3 lp, rep from * all around, ch 7, join in 1st cluster st, cut thread.

4TH RND:  Attach White in any ch 5 lp, s c in same sp, * ch 7, sc in next lp, ch 7, sc in next lp, ch 7, sc in same lp, rep from * all around end with ch 3, trc in 1st sc (this brings thread in position for next rnd).

5TH RND:  2 Sc over trc, * ch 5, 2 sc in next lp, rep from * all around end with ch 1, trc in 1st sc.

6TH RND:  2 Sc over trc, * ch 6, 2 sc in next lp, rep from * all around end with ch 2, trc in 1st sc.

7TH RND:  2 Sc over trc, * ch 7, 2 sc in next lp, rep from * all around end with ch 3, trc in 1st sc.

8TH RND:  2 Sc over trc, * ch 8, 2 sc in next lp, rep from * all around end with ch 3, d trc in 1st sc.

9TH RND:  * Ch 9, sc in next lp, rep from * all around, ch 9, join in d trc, cut thread.

10TH RND:  Attach Green in any lp, ch 1 & work 5 sc, ch 3, 5 sc in each lp, join in 1st sc.

11TH RND:  Attach Shaded Yellows in any ch 3 lp, ch 4, cluster st in same sp, * ch 4, cluster st in same sp, rep from * once, cut thread. * Sk two - ch 3 lps, attach Shaded Yellows in next lp, ch 4, cluster st in same lp, ch 4, cluster st in same sp, ch 4, cluster st in same sp, cut thread, rep from * 6 times.

12TH RND:  Attach Green in 1st ch 3 lp after any cluster st group, sc in same sp, * ch 8, sc in next ch 3 lp, ch 7, 5 sc in next lp bet cluster sts, ch 3, 5 sc in next lp, ch 7, sc in next ch 3 lp, rep from * all around end to correspond, join in 1st sc.

13TH RND:  * 5 Sc in next lp, ch 3, 5 s c in same lp, 4 sc, ch 3, 4 sc in next lp, ch 5, 1 sc, ch 3, 1 sc in next ch 3 lp, ch 5, 4 sc, ch 3, 4 sc in next lp, rep from * all around end to correspond, join, cut thread.

14TH RND:  Attach White in any ch 3 lp above cluster st group, sc in same sp, * ch 5, sc in next lp, ch 5, sc in next lp, ch 7, sc in next lp, ch 7, sc in next lp, * ch 5, sc in next lp, rep from * 3 times, ch 7, sc in next lp, ch 7, sc in next lp, rep from 1st * 6 times, ch 5, sc in next lp, ch 1, trc in 1st sc.

Rep 6th, 7th & 8th rnds once.

18TH RND:  2 Sc over d trc, * ch 9, 2 sc in next lp, rep from * all around end with ch 4, d trc in 1st sc.

19TH & 20TH RNDS:  Same as 9th & 10th rnds.

21ST RND:  Attach Shaded Yellows in any ch 3 lp directly above group of Shaded Yellow cluster sts of prev rnd & work in same manner as 11th rnd, but rep from * 14 times.

22ND RND:  Same as 12th rnd.

23RD RND:  Same as 13th rnd.
