Free Pattern - Vintage Deluxe Flower Bathroom Set to Crochet

Deluxe Flower Bathroom Set
MATERIALS: 
American Thread Co, Aunt Lydias Heavy Rug Yarn
11 - 70 yd skeins White 
2 - 70 yd skeins each Orange & Emerald
Plastic Crochet Hook Size J [or any size hook which will result in stitch gauge shown.]

GAUGE: 
5 sts = 2"
2 rows = 1"

RUG:

Approx 33" in diameter.

With Orange ch 6, join to form ring, ch 3, 3 dc in ring, drop lp from hk, insert hk in 3rd st of ch, pick up lp, pull thru (all 1st pcs are worked in same manner), * ch 2, pcs in ring (pcs - 4 dc in same sp, drop lp from hk, insert hk in 1st dc, pick up lp & pull thru st), rep from * 6 times, ch 2, join in 1st pcs. 
2nd RND: Sl st into lp, work 2 pcs sts in each lp with ch 2 bet each pcs st all around, join in 1st pcs. 
3rd RD: Same as 2nd rd. 
4th & 5th RNDS: Sl st into lp, pcs in same lp, * ch 2, pcs st in next lp, rep from * all around, ch 2, join, cut yarn - 32 ch-2 lps.
PETALS:
Attach White in any ch-2 lp, ch 3, (count as 1 dc) 2 dc in same lp, 3 dc in each of next 2 lps, ch 1, turn. 
2nd ROW: 2 sc in 1st dc, 1 sc in each dc to within last dc, 2 sc in last dc, ch 3, turn. 
3rd ROW: 1 dc in same sp, 1 dc in each sc, 2 dc in last sc, ch 1, turn. 
4th ROW: Same as 2nd row. 
5th ROW: 1 dc in each sc, ch 1, turn. 
6th ROW: Same as 2nd row. 
Rep last 2 rows once -19 sts at end of last rep. 
9th to 15th ROWS: Work even in patt, work 1 row in dc, 1 row in sc. 
16th ROW: Dec 1 st at beg & end of row, ch 3, turn. 
NEXT 4 ROWS: Rep last row. 
21st ROW: Dec 2 sts at beg of row (to dec - keep last lp of each st on hk, work 1 dc in each of next 2 sts, yo hk & pull thru all lps at 1 time), 1 dc in each sc to within last 3 sc, dec 2 sts in next 3 sts, ch 1, turn - 5 dc. 
22nd ROW: Work even, ch 3, turn. 
23rd ROW: Keep last lp of each st on hk, work 1 dc in each of next 4 sts, yo & pull thru all lps at 1 time, ch 3, sl st at base of dc, cut yarn. 
Work 7 more petals in same manner sk 1 lp bet petals.
LEAF:
Attach Emerald in any free lp, ch 3, 6 dc in same sp, ch 1, turn. 
NEXT ROW: 1 sc in each dc, ch 1, turn. 
NEXT 7 ROWS: 1 sc in each sc, ch 1, turn. 
10th ROW: Dec 1 sc at beg & end of row, ch 3, turn. 
11th ROW: Keep last lp of each st on hk, work 1 dc in each of next 4 sts, yo & pull thru all lps at 1 time, ch 3, sl st at base of dc, cut yarn. 
Work leaf in same manner in each of rem 7 free lps.
FINISHING: Attach White at base of left side of petal, work around petal at side of rows, work sl st in each of 1st 11 rows, work 2 sl sts in each dc row, * work shell in next row (shell - 5 dc in same sp), sc in next row, rep from * 5 times, shell in dc, sc at side of dc, * shell in next sc row, sc in next row, rep from last * 4 times, shell in next row, sl st down rem 11 rows to base of petal, cut yarn. 
Work around all petals in same manner. 
Sew petals tog at side to center dc of 1st shell. 
Sew leaves down in position. 
Block lightly.
SEAT COVER:With Orange work same as 1st 2 rnds of rug, cut yarn.
LARGE PETAL:
Attach White in any lp, ch 3, 5 dc in same l, ch 1, turn. 
2nd ROW: 2 sc in 1st dc, 1 sc in each dc to within last dc, 2 sc in last dc, ch 3, turn. 
3rd ROW: 1 dc in same sp, 1 dc in each sc to within last sc, 2 dc in last sc, ch 1, turn. 
4th ROW: Same as 2nd row. 
5th ROW: Same as 3rd row. 
6th ROW: Same as 2nd row - 16 sts. 
7th ROW: 1 dc in each sc, ch 1, turn. 
8th ROW: Dec 1 st at beg and end of row, ch 3, turn. 
9th ROW: Keep last lp of each st on hk, work 1 dc in each of next 2 sts, yo & pull thru all lp at 1 time (dec), 1 dc in each sc to within last 3 dc, keep last lp of each st on hk 1 dc in each of next 3 dc, yo & pull thru all lps on hk (dec), ch 1, turn. 
10th ROW: Sk 1st dc, dec 1 sc in next 2 sts (2 sc dec), 1 sc to within last 4 sts, dec 2 sc in 4 sts by work 2 tog twice, ch 3, turn. 
11th ROW: Keep last lp of each st on hk, work 1 dc in each of next 5 sts, yo & work off all lps at 1 time, ch 3, sl st at base of last dc, cut yarn.
SMALL PETAL: Sk 1 lp, attach yarn in next lp, ch 3, 5 dc in same lp, ch 1, turn. 
2nd, 3rd & 4th ROWS: Work same as large petal. 
5th ROW: 1 dc in each sc, ch 1, turn. 
6th ROW: Inc 1 sc at beg & end of row, ch 3, turn - 14 sts. 
7th ROW: Work 3 dc tog at beg & end of row, 1 dc in each st bet. 
8th ROW: Dec 2 sc at beg & end of row, 1 sc in each st bet, ch 3, turn. 
9th ROW: Work all sts tog, ch 3, sl st at base of dc, cut yarn. 
Work 2 more small petals in same manner sk 1 lp bet each petal (1st half compl). 
Sk 1 lp bet each petal, rep last 4 petals - 8 petals at end of rnd.
EDGE:
Attach White at side of 1 large petal at base, sl st up side to 5th row, * work shell on side of next sc row (shell - 5 dc in same sp), sc in next dc row, rep from * twice, shell in top of petal, sc on side of ch 3, * shell in next sc row, sc in next row, rep from * once, shell in next sc row (7 shells), sl st to base of petal, cut yarn. 
Work other large petal in same manner. 
At­tach yarn at side of small petal at base, & work same as large petal have 1 less shell on each side - 5 shells around petal. 
Work rem small petals in same manner.
LEAF:
Attach Emerald in any free lp, ch 3, 4 dc in same sp, ch 1, turn. 
NEXT 2 ROWS: 1 sc in each st, ch 3 at end of last row. 
4th ROW: Keep last lp of each st on hk, work 1 dc in each of next 4 sts, yo & work off all lps at 1 time, ch 3, sl st in base, cut yarn. 
Work leaf in same manner in each re­m free lp.
FINISHING:
Block lightly. 
Sew each side of petal up to center of 1st shell. 
Sew leaf over seam of each petal.
FACING:
Attach White in back of shell of large petal at side of 9th row, ch 1, work 4 sc to join of petals, work 16 sc around next petal, work in back lp of 2 shells, in dc of petal & in back of 2 shells at side to opposite join. 
Work next 2 petals in same manner. 
Work large petal at lower edge in same manner, but have 24 sc around petal.
Complete re­m 3 petals, but work 4 sc at side of large petal at beg - 128 sc. 
2nd ROW: 1 sc in each sc, ch 1, turn. 
3rd ROW: 1 sc in each sc, dec 4 sts evenly spaced around large leaf at lower edge.
4th & 5th ROWS: 1 sc in each sc, ch 1, turn. 
6th ROW: 1 sc in 1st sc, * ch 2, sk 2 sc, sc in next sc, rep from * to opp end. 
7th ROW: 1 sc in each sc, 2 sc in each ch-2 lp, cut yarn. 
DRAW STRING:
With White work ch 54" long, cut yarn. 
Lace thru beading.
TISSUE TOPPER:With Orange work 1st 2 rnds same as rug, cut yarn.
PETAL:
Attach White in any lp, ch 3, 2 dc in same lp, ch 1, turn. 
2nd ROW: 2 sc at beg & end of row, 1 sc in each dc bet, ch 3, turn. 
3rd ROW: 1 dc in same sp, 1 dc in each s to within last sc, 2 dc in last sc, ch 1, turn. 
4th ROW: 1 sc in each dc, ch 3, turn. 
5th ROW: 1 dc in each sc, ch 1, turn. 
6th ROW: 1 sc in each dc. 
7th ROW: Dec 1 dc at beg & end of row. 
8th ROW: Dec 1 sc at beg & end of row, ch 3, turn. 
9th ROW: Keep last lp of each st on hk, work 1 dc in each of next 2 sts, yo & pull thru all lps at 1 time, ch 3, sl st in base of dc, cut yarn. 
Work 7 more petals in same manner in every other lp - 8 petals.
LEAF:
Attach Emerald in any free lp bet petals, ch 3, 4 dc in same sp, ch 3, turn. 
Keep last lp of each st on hk, 1 dc in each of next 4 sts, yo & pull thru all lps at 1 time, cut yarn, ch 3 sl st in base. 
Work 7 more leaves in same manner.
FINISHING:
Attach White at base of any petal, sl st across side of petal to within last sc, work 5 dc on side of next sc row (shell), sc in next row, shell in dc at top of petal, sc on side of next row, shell in next sc row, sl st down side of petal to base, cut yarn. 
Work all petals in same manner. 
Sew sides of all petals to center dc of 1st shell. 
Sew leaves down in position.

POMPOM:
Wind Orange 35 times over 3" cardboard, slip off cardboard. 
Tie at center, cut both ends & trim into shape. 
Tie in center of top.
